2. Day: Munich - Starnberger Lake (approx. 35/58 km)

Your first bike stage leads you from Munich via the lakes Weßlinger and Pilsensee to lake Ammersee, the third largest lake in Bavaria. Past the Abbey Andechs you reach Lake Starnberg. For those who would like to start the trip more comfortable, can cycle directly to Lake Starnberg.

3. Day: Starnberger Lake - Murnau/Seehausen am Staffelsee (approx. 45 km)

Along the east side of Lake Starnberg you cycle till Seeshaupt. Shortly before, there is a nice swimming area where you can cool off on hot days. A real insider tip is the fantastic view over the romantic lake Riegsee, before you reach lake Staffelsee.

4. Day: Murnau/Seehausen am Staffelsee - Bad Tölz (approx. 45 km)

Your today’s stage leads you first to lake Kochelsee. From here you cycle further to Benediktbeuern and Bad Heilbrunn to Bad Tölz. The health resort, well known for the German crime movie “Der Bulle von Tölz”, has a lot to offer.

5. Day: Bad Tölz - Tegernsee (approx. 20 - 60 km)

Leisurely cyclists can ride along the cycle path directly to Tegernsee (approx. 20 km) and can then even go around the lake Tegernsee (+ approx. 20 km). Very sportive cyclists resp. MTB-ambitious can use the variation along the Isar to the fjord-like Sylvenstein reservoir and select the Achenpass to Tegernsee.

6. Day: Tegernsee - Munich (approx. 25 - 65 km)

The bike path Via Bavarica Tyrolensis brings you directly from Tegernsee back to the Bavarian capital. Anyone who wants can shorten the stage per Oberlandbahn to about 25 km (has to be organized by yourself).
